 Mike Holt Classical / Jazz guitarist
Mike draws from over 8 years experience playing solo guitar for weddings, corporate events, restaurants etc..
Over the years he has built up an extensive repertoire that includes a wide range of classical guitar pieces from the Baroque period right through to modern day. To compliment this, he also has an extensive repertoire of jazz guitar arrangements and improvisations. Depending on your requirements, Mike can perform sets of just classical or jazz guitar, or a mixture of the two.
Mike is extremely flexible and able to adapt to your requirements. Whether it be to give the room a subtle ambience, keep guests entertained, or to play for the bride to walk down the aisle. He began studying the guitar aged 8 and received grade 8 with distinction in 1997 graduating from Kingston University with BMus(Hons) in 2000.
Mike has held residencies in restaurants and bars performing with his guitar and sax duo to varied audiences in a spectrum of styles. Mike has also featured in countless ensembles both academically and professionally. |
